Trade Between Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan Reaches $59.6 million in Jan-Feb 2023

Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover with Turkmenistan amounted to $59.6 million in January-February of 2023, according to the report published by the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan on Friday.

In the first two months of this year, Uzbekistan imported $40.2 million worth of Turkmen products. At the same period, the country’s exports to Turkmenistan amounted to $19.3 million.

Uzbekistan's total foreign trade turnover in January-February 2023 amounted to $8.9 billion, which, compared to the same period last year, is an increase of $176.4 million, or 2 percent.

In 2022, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan amounted to $926.3 million.
