Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan Oil Transit via Baku Reaches 3.7 Million Tons

Transit of oil from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline reached 3.7076 million tons in JanuaryNovember 2025.

According to Report.az, citing the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan, this accounted for 14.9% of the total volume transported through the pipeline.

Overall, 33.4089 million tons of oil were transported through Azerbaijan’s main pipelines during the same period.

The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline stretches 1,768 kilometers, carrying crude oil from the Caspian Sea to the Mediterranean. It begins in Baku, Azerbaijan, passes through Georgia, and terminates at the Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean coast.
