Total trade in goods and services between the United Kingdom and Turkmenistan reached £102 million in the four quarters to the end of June 2025, according to the Trade and Investment Factsheet published by the UK Department for Business and Trade.
The figure represents an increase of 32.5%, or £25 million in current prices, compared with the four quarters to the end of the second quarter of 2024.
During the reporting period, UK exports to Turkmenistan totaled £86 million — up 59.3%, or £32 million, compared with the same period in 2024.
Imports from Turkmenistan to the United Kingdom reached £16 million, an increase of 30.4%, or £7 million, over the same period.
The UK’s main exports to Turkmenistan include industrial machinery and scientific instruments, while Turkmenistan’s primary exports to the UK consist of inorganic chemicals, mechanical generators, metal ores, and scrap.
