The value of Iran’s trade with Turkmenistan (excluding crude oil exports) in the first eleven months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-February 19) increased by 32.18 percent compared to the same period of last year.
This was reported by the Iranian Financial Tribune newspaper on Tuesday, citing the data from the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).
During the period, Turkmenistan and Iran traded 1.2 million tons of products worth $435.73 million.
Iran's total trade turnover with Caspian Sea littoral states in the first ten months reached 5.99 million tons worth $3.34 billion, a 9.19 percent increase compared to the similar period last year.
Russia was Iran’s main trading partner among the Caspian states during the period with 3.36 million tons of products worth $1.97 billion.
Iran’s exports to the Caspian littoral states exceeded $1.86 billion during the period, registering a 3.39 percent rise.
