The political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Argentine Republic took place in Buenos Aires on October 17.
The delegation from Turkmenistan was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vepa Hadjiev and the delegation of Argentina Deputy Minister of Foreign Af-fairs and Worship of Argentina, Gustavo Rodolfo Zlauvinen.
The aspects of enhancing cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed during the meeting. As noted, the two states have successfully cooperated in the framework of authoritative international organiza-tions, primarily on the UN platform, and the inter-parliamentary ties have fruitfully de-veloped.
The parties emphasized the importance to build up trade and economic part-nerships and increase mutual trade, and also discussed the prospects for cooperation in the fields of agriculture, energy, transport and tourism.
As was emphasized, the Turkmen-Argentinean dialogue had great potential for joint efforts and interests.
On October 18, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan was received by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Argentina, Jorge Marcelo Faurie.
