Turkmen Commodity Exchange Registers Urea Export Deals

Urea grade B was in high demand at the trades of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Monday, the press service of the SCRMET reports.

Business Representatives of Afghanistan, the UAE and Ukraine purchased urea grade B with a total value of $5,6 million. The urea batches sold during the exchange trades are products of Turkmenhimiya (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern.

Traders from Pakistan purchased raw silk with a total value of the transactions amounting to $300 thousand.

Turkmen businesspeople purchased TPP D 30 S polypropylene, produced by the State Concern Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil), as well as handmade Turkmen carpets, for the domestic market with a total transaction amount worth of 2 million 415 thousand 334.3 manat.

Last week, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered deals over $18.8 million.
