Turkmen Company Sahabatly Produces Several Types of Dairy Products

Sahabatly company, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), produces several types of dairy products, the Union said in its Friday press release.

The company produces kefir, sour cream, ayran and suzma and sells them at local markets under the Sahabatly brand. The company also produces 200, 400 and 1000 gram Paýtagt and 700 gram Dilim cheeses.

In addition to production facilities, the company also operates a special livestock complex with several hundred Holstein cattle and Saanen goats.

The enterprise, located along the Ashgabat-Gokdepe ring road, received a land plot of 600 hectares from the state on a long-term basis. More than 450 hectares of this area have been allocated for fodder crops.

The livestock complex of the Sahabatly Economic Society was opened in 2014.
