Turkmen Deputy Prime Minister met with the President of Uzbekistan

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Esenmyrat Orazgeldiev was received today by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This was reported by the press service of the Uzbek leader.

The Deputy Prime Minister is on a two-day visit to the country as part of the meetings of the bilateral intergovernmental commissions. During the meeting, the sides discussed the practical aspects of further expanding the Uzbek-Turkmen multifaceted cooperation.

Esenmyrat Orazgeldiev sincerely thanked the leader of Uzbekistan for the warm welcome and conveyed greetings and best wishes of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

He also informed about the main results of the meetings of the joint intergovernmental commissions on bilateral cooperation and water management issues, which took place these days in Tashkent.

Mirziyoyev stressed the importance of promoting economic cooperation projects and cultural and humanitarian exchange programs.

We will remind earlier on September 6, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed Deputy Prime Minister Esenmyrat Orazgeldiyev to prepare for a visit to Uzbekistan.
