Turkmen Greco-Roman wrestler won bronze at the V Islamic Solidarity Games

Azatjan Achilov from Turkmenistan won a bronze medal at the V Islamic Solidarity Games in Türkiye in the Greco-Roman wrestling competition in the weight category up to 63 kg.

In the fight for bronze, he defeated Jebbari Abdeljebar from Algeria.

The winner was Shirzad Beheshtital from Iran, silver went to Kyrgyz Tynar Sharshenbekov. Another bronze medal was won by Firuz Mirzorajabov from Tajikistan.

The V Islamic Solidarity Games will last until August 18. Turkmenistan is represented at the competitions by 80 athletes.
