Turkmen President Donates Money to Charitable Fund

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov donated half of his monthly salary to the Charitable Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, the country’s official media reported on Monday.

The Fund was established in accordance with the Presidential Resolution on March 29 of this year to provide social support to the younger generation, help restore the health of children in need of guardianship, and provide favorable conditions for their happy life.

The accounts of the Charitable Fund in national and foreign currency have been opened in the Central Bank of Turkmenistan. By the Resolution of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the Fund was named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

In accordance with part thirteen of the Charter of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, Rejep Bazarov has been appointed the Executive Director of the organization.
