Turkmen sportsmen won silver at the Asian youth championship on freestyle wrestling in Bishkek

Freestyle wrestler Zyyamuhammet Saparov from Turkmenistan become a silver winner of the Asian youth championship (U23) on freestyle wrestling in the weight up to 125 kilograms, in which competed 5 sportsmen.

In accordance with the International rules UWW fight, if there are less than 6 wrestlers in a weight category, the Nordic system should be used (each against each).

Zyyamuhammet Saparov beat Umid Jorayev (Uzbekistan) in the first round 11:0, then lost to Kazakhstan’s Alisher Ergali - 4:15, after that he alternately prevailed over Mohit Mohit (India) 7:6 and Arslanbek Turdubekov (Kyrgyzstan) 7:2.

Alisher Ergali became the champion in this weight category. The silver medal in the team of Turkmenistan went to 22-year-old Zyyamuhammet Saparov. Mohit Mohit has risen to the third step of the podium.
