The new season Lebap Music and Drama Theater named after S.Seydi was opened by the play "Dayakhatyn", directed by the director Perkhat Khudaiberenov - the winner of the national theater festival of this year in the nomination "Best director".
The literary basis for the production was Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's book "Turkmenistan is the heart of the Great Silk Road".The scenic interpretation of one of the episodes tells about the events that took place at the turn of the 11th-12th centuries in the north of the Lebap regions, where on one of the segments of the caravan route from Asia to Europe was the majestic fortress of Dayakhatin.
In the storyline, adapted by the playwright Shohrat Masharipov, historical facts intertwined and love peripteries.
In the new season in the repertory palette of the theater - along with the expected premieres, and already loved by the audience performances are such as "Love is not a game", "Romeo and Juliet", as well as performances for young spectators and thematic events.
