The “Turkmendenizderyayollary” Agency organized comprehensive training camps in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea. The purpose of the exercise was to test readiness to act quickly in emergency situations of man-made and natural nature, reports the agency’s website.
During the three-stage collection, a fire situation was simulated on one of the tankers due to a technical malfunction. Actions for notification, coordination and decision-making by various operational services were practiced. Rescue forces and equipment were also deployed in the simulated incident area.
The exercises showed a high degree of readiness of the “Turkmendenizderyayollary” Agency and other involved operational services to quickly respond to emergency incidents and prevent negative consequences. In general, the gatherings contributed to the further improvement of coordination and coherence of the actions of rescue forces in the Caspian waters.
