Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova met with Deputy Minister of Education of the People's Republic of China Sun Yao, who arrived in Ashgabat on a working visit, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed specific areas for further cooperation. In particular, they discussed personnel training, exchange of specialists, as well as organizing educational events on cybersecurity.
In addition, the feasibility of conducting joint research and educational programs in medicine, agriculture, ecology and other areas was noted.
It was noted that thanks to regular contacts at the highest level, Turkmen-Chinese relations are actively developing in many areas, including education. Already, there is an intensive exchange of university delegations, joint conferences and exhibitions are being held.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed confidence that this visit will give new impetus to the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of education.
