Turkmenistan and Italy discussed cooperation between seaports

The Turkmen delegation headed by the Plenipotentiary Representative of Turkmenistan in the Italian Republic Toili Komekov made a working visit to the city of Naples, the Press Service of the diplomatic establishment reported.

Within the framework of the meetings, the Turkmen Ambassador held talks with the Mayor of Naples, President of the Port System Administration of the Central part of the Tyrrhenian Sea, Vice-President for Internationalization of the Union of Industrialists of Naples, as well as with the Rector of the Frederick II University of Naples.

The parties discussed cooperation in all priority areas from interaction in trade and economy to humanitarian area.

During the dialogue with the management of the port administration, cooperation between the International seaport of Turkmenbashi and the Italian seaports covering Naples Salerno and Castellammare di Stabia was discussed.

Agreements were also reached on scientific and educational exchange, holding various joint events and conferences in the future.
