The interlocutors noted the high level of relations between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan, stressing that the political will of the two countries’ leadership has given new substance to the traditionally friendly and brotherly ties between their peoples.

Particular attention was paid to the importance of regular high-level contacts, which contribute to maintaining a stable political dialogue, developing coordinated approaches to regional and international issues, and providing mutual support for initiatives at multilateral platforms.

Trade and economic cooperation was identified as a key area of partnership. In this context, the sides discussed the development of transport and logistics links, the expansion of multimodal corridors and the simplification of cross-border procedures, which participants said would create conditions for increasing bilateral trade.

The talks concluded with confirmation of mutual interest in further expanding cooperation and continuing constructive dialogue across all priority areas.
