Turkmenistan, Euronews Discuss Development of Joint Projects

Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Belgium, Sapar Palvanov, met with the Board of Directors of the Euronews international news channel Pedro Vargas David to discuss prospects for further bilateral cooperation and the implementation of joint projects in the near future, the Turkmen Embassy in Belgium reported.

The meeting took place in Brussels during the Euronews’ EU Enlargement Summit, which brought together leaders of candidate countries and highlighted positive steps toward European integration.

Ambassador Palvanov also attended a formal reception organized by the Embassy of Moldova in Brussels to celebrate strengthened ties between Moldova and the European Union. The event was attended by Moldova’s President, Maia Sandu.

During the reception, the diplomat met with Charles Michel, former President of the European Council, now President Emeritus and Minister of State of Belgium. The parties discussed the development of interregional cooperation and strengthening dialogue between the EU and Central Asian countries. Charles Michel conveyed warm regards and best wishes to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
