On 19 June President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov conducted a video conference which reviewed preparations for the Week of Culture, which is timed to coincide with the Day of Artists and Cultural Workers, celebrated in Turkmenistan on 28 June.
“Turkmenistan: Golden Age” reports that the President of Turkmenistan instructed to ensure top level organization of the large-scale creative campaign and the events scheduled to be held in its framework.
Let us recall that the events devoted to the President’s birthday celebrated on 29 June on an annual basis become a highlight of the Week of Culture. This year Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov will be turning 60.
Moreover, the Asian Games 2017, the sports event which is presented as an enormous accomplishment of the birthday man will be held in Ashgabat in September.
It may be assumed that the festivities held in honour of the President’s 60th anniversary will be held on the unprecedented scale and will be hosted by the country’s capital rather than Avaza, a common venue for the birthday party.
Let us recall that on 29 June 2009 the Museum of Turkmenistan’s President, which displays the gifts presented to him and by him, was opened.
The collection primarily exhibits various gold figures, carpets, chess and other things.In 2013 a female singer Jenifer Lopez performed at the President’s birthday party in Avaza.
Berdymukhammedov is often presented with horses, not only for his birthday, but on other special occasions.
