Turkmenistan has provided another humanitarian aid to Afghanistan

Turkmenistan has provided another humanitarian aid to Afghanistan by having fixed a Health House in the Garamgol district of Faryab province and handing over a batch of medical equipment and medicines, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.

The Health House in the Garamgol district of Faryab province was built by the Government of Turkmenistan in 2009 as a humanitarian aid.

The solemn event, organized by the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Mazar-I-Sharif, was attended by the head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan in Balkh province, governors of Garamgol, Gorgan, Andhoy and Hancharbagh districts of Faryab province, heads of healthcare institutions, residents.

During the ceremony, the Head of the local education management, Mahmud Han Abdullah, was handed in textbooks for schoolchildren of grades 1-4, intended for use in Turkmen language classes at schools in Garamgol district.

The participants of the event expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side, which has been providing humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan for many years.
