At a meeting of the heads of delegations of Central Asian countries and the Eastern Economic Committee of Germany in Berlin, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invited German companies to participate in the implementation of projects in the field of water use in Turkmenistan, the State Information Agency TDH reports.
According to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan is implementing comprehensive measures aimed at preserving and rationally using water resources.
As one of such projects, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty noted the comprehensive modernization of the operational infrastructure of the Karakum River (Karakum Canal). The implementation of this project will improve the efficiency of water use in agriculture and industry in Turkmenistan.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people expressed hope that German companies will be interested in participating in the implementation of projects in the field of water use in Turkmenistan.
