Turkmenistan is establishing cooperation with a Chinese manufacturer of marine engines

Representatives of the Balkan shipyard held negotiations with the management of the Chinese company Weichai Holding Co. Ltd, reports the website of the Turkmendenizderyayollary agency. The parties discussed the supply of equipment and spare parts for the bulk carrier S. Niyazov" of the National Merchant Fleet of Turkmenistan.

In particular, the Turkmen side provided technical specifications and drawings of the main engine and diesel generators necessary for modernizing the vessel. It was noted that the equipment must meet the requirements of international standards.

Representatives of the Chinese company, the largest manufacturer of engines and transmissions for ships in China, expressed their readiness for long-term cooperation.

Thus, Turkmenistan is establishing partnerships with a leading player in the Asian market to modernize the national merchant fleet in order to increase its competitiveness.
