Turkmenistan plans to invest 40.1 billion manat in economy in 2025

The draft state budget of Turkmenistan for 2025 envisages large-scale investments in the country's economy in the amount of 40.1 billion manats from all sources of funding, as well as an increase in social payments to the population. The document was sent to the Mejlis for consideration after being signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, TDH writes.

As Deputy Prime Minister Hojamurad Geldimuradov reported at a government meeting, the draft budget was developed in accordance with the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028. The main priorities of the financial document are maintaining macroeconomic stability, modernizing production and improving the standard of living of the population.

The draft budget provides for an increase in wages, pensions, state benefits and scholarships. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of the developed document for the further socio-economic development of the country and the implementation of the planned reforms.
