The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyev reported on preparations for the upcoming session of the Turkmen-Qatar Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, scheduled to be held in Doha, Qatar, in November.
The session is expected to focus on expanding bilateral partnerships in trade and economic relations, investment, finance and banking, energy, transport and communications, information technology, agriculture, and environmental protection. Participants will also discuss opportunities to enhance cooperation in cultural and humanitarian fields, including education, culture, youth policy, sports, and tourism.
A relevant proposal on the matter was submitted for the President’s consideration.
President Berdimuhamedov highlighted the country’s ongoing efforts to strengthen mutually beneficial trade and economic relations with Qatar. He approved the proposed composition of the Turkmen side of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission and instructed to the Deputy Chairman to take appropriate measures to implement the decisions.
