Turkmenistan to Aid Children in Russia's Primorsky Krai

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree on sending humanitarian aid to children in Russia's Primorsky Krai in August 2023 on behalf of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, the official Turkmen media reported on Wednesday.

The Decree on sending humanitarian aid was adopted on the basis of the ancient principles of goodwill and humanistic traditions of the Turkmen people, taking into account the natural disasters that occurred in Primorsky Krai, according to the report.

In accordance with the document, the Ministry of Textile Industry and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, together with the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Fund for Assistance to Children, were instructed to prepare and donate appropriate goods and food products as humanitarian aid for the children of Primorsky Krai.

In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan was made responsible for the organization of the delivery of humanitarian aid.
