In accordance with the legislation of Turkmenistan on the privatization of state property, the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan announced an auction for the sale of 15 state properties.
The list of state properties that will be privatized was published in Türkmenistan newspaper’s Monday issue. The auction will be held on April 20 at the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan.
The properties of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, the State Committee for Water Resources of Turkmenistan, the Türkmenawtoulaglary (Turkmen Motor Transport) Agency, the Türkmenhaly (Turkmen Carpets) Production Association, the Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern, the khyakimliks (administrations) of Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary provinces will be put up for auction.
Citizens of Turkmenistan, foreign nationals, as well as non-state legal entities of Turkmenistan and foreign legal entities, who have submitted an application in the prescribed form, have made a deposit and special fee, and have been registered to participate in the auction on time, are allowed to participate in the auction in the procedure established by the legislation of Turkmenistan.
Foreign legal entities, international organizations established in accordance with the laws of foreign states, their permanent representatives and branches in Turkmenistan can participate in the privatization of state property only with the conclusion of the Agency for Protection against Economic Risks under the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan starts accepting and registering applications from the date of publication of this information message and ends 24 hours before the auction. Registration of participants begins on the day of the auction at 9.00.
The Department of Property Relations and Enterprise Support of the Ministry of Finance and Economy and specialized entities of departments of finance and economy of welayats and Ashgabat city carry out consultations on the procedure for participation in the auction and the provision of additional information on the objects for privatization.
