Turkmenistan to Hold Exhibition Marking Ashgabat Day

The XXI International Exhibition White City of Ashgabat will be held in Turkmen capital to celebrate the Day of Ashgabat.

Charymyrat Purchekov, the Deputy Chairman of the Turkmen Government for the industrial and construction complex, briefed on the preparations for the exhibition to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov during the online cabinet meeting on Friday, the country’s official media reports.

Over 80 local and foreign companies, government agencies and enterprises, representatives of the private sector expressed their readiness to take part in the exhibition this year, the Vice-Premier said.

The exhibition will present the proposals and achievements of Turkmen businesses and state institutions.

Following the briefing, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of the upcoming significant dates of the national calendar and high organization level of the planned celebrations.

The government meeting considered aspects of state policy and drafts of a number of documents.
