Turkmenistan to Host International Construction Exhibition in August

Turkmenistan will hold international exhibition "Construction, Industry, Energy of Turkmenistan 2022" and scientific-practical conference "Development of the construction, industrial, energy sectors of Turkmenistan" on August 6 this year.

Charymyrat Purchekov, the Deputy Chairman of the Turkmen Government in charge of the construction, industrial and energy issues, briefed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on preparations for the events to mark the Day of construction and industrial complex workers during the online cabinet meeting on Friday, the official Turkmen media reports.

The exhibition will gather state enterprises, representatives of domestic business and foreign companies specializing in construction, industry and energy.

Following the report, President Berdimuhamedov pointed out that the construction, industrial and energy complexes play an increasingly important role in the successful implementation of priority programs aimed at further increasing the multi-sectoral national economy, maximizing the use of abundant natural resources, and transformation of regions.

The Cabinet meeting considered a number of draft documents and discussed pressing issues of socio-economic development and some other issues of the country.
