Turkmenistan to Participate in Caspian 2021 International Forum

Representatives of Turkmenistan will take part in the International Scientific Forum "Caspian 2021: Ways of Sustainable Development, which will take place in Astrakhan (Russia) in a hybrid format from May 26 to May 28, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Thursday.

The forum will gather representatives of scientific and business circles, and officials from the Caspian littoral states.

The Turkmen side will be represented by the Director General of Turkmen Milli Logistic OJSC, a member of the international working group on the development of the North-South international transport corridor Begench Mammedov and rector of the Turkmen State University named after Magtumguly Bayramgul Orazdurdiyeva.

The international forum will feature an open communication platform for representatives of development institutions, business structures, industrial enterprises, startups, investors and government authorities to enhance the innovative development of the Caspian macroregion.

Within the framework of the forum, more than 20 events will take place, including round tables, presentations, lectures, panel discussions, a conference, a meeting of the Commission on Science, Research and Technology of the Association of State Universities of the Caspian States.

The results of the forum will form the basis of the agenda of the II Caspian Economic Forum, which will be held in Moscow in August 2021.
