Turkmenistan, U.S. Discuss Economic Cooperation

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met Thursday with U.S. Special Representative for South and Central Asia Sergio Gor to discuss prospects for economic cooperation of mutual interest.

The two sides also exchanged views on regional stability, the U.S. Embassy in Turkmenistan said in a social media post on Friday.

The American side praised the level of diplomatic engagement between the two countries.

On the same day the embassy of U.S. in Turkmenistan hosted an official reception Thursday, attended by the special representative and members of the U.S. and Turkmen business communities.
