Turkmenistan will participate in the international transport forum in Astrakhan

On October 25-26, the international forum “MTC “North-South” - a new concept” will be held in Astrakhan, reports the Ministry of Foreign Relations of the Astrakhan Region of the Russian Federation.

Representatives of more than 150 companies, including from Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia, as well as Belarus, Uzbekistan, India, Pakistan, the UAE and other countries will discuss the prospects for cooperation in the transport and logistics sector, and first of all, practical issues, related to the implementation of the North-South ITC project, the source notes.

On October 25, four sessions will be held at which experts will discuss new markets, proposals from organizations to ensure trade turnover and transit, as well as a new concept for the North-South transport corridor. The companies will sign investment agreements.

On October 26, participants will get acquainted with regional enterprises and visit the ports of Astrakhan and the “Lotos” SEZ.

The event will be held with the assistance of the government of the Astrakhan region, RusIranExpo, and the Caspian International Integration Club “North-South”.
