Two unique giant carpets, each with an area of 276 square meters, are woven by the craftswomen of the Serdar enterprise of artistic carpet weaving of the State Association “Türkmenhaly”, the State Publishing Service of Turkmenistan reports.
To complete the work on time, hundreds of craftswomen work on unique carpets over three shifts.
The Serdar enterprise of artistic carpet weaving has been specializing in the production of large carpets for several years. Such carpets, woven by the golden hands of craftswomen, adorn the palace apartments of the capital and velayats.
Recall that the construction of giant Turkmen white yurts has begun in Dashoguz, Lebap and Balkan velayats in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan dated November 30, 2018. The document ordered to hand over the facilities in full readiness for operation in June 2021.
