World Curling welcomes two new Member Associations

Following the Virtual World Curling General Assembly held at the beginning of September, Member Associations of the World Curling Federation grew from 64 to 66.

The World Curling Federation Board has approved the Bolivian Curling Federation and the Curling Federation of Turkmenistan into conditional membership. The Bolivian Curling Federation will join the Americas zone, while the Curling Federation of Turkmenistan will join the Pacific-Asia zone.

World Curling Federation President, Kate Caithness said: “Despite the challenges we have faced this year, I am very pleased to say that the curling family continues to grow. I’m delighted to welcome Bolivia and Turkmenistan into the World Curling Federation. I look forward to seeing their plans to develop curling in their countries realised in the coming years.”
