Ashgabat Expected to Host Exhibition of Iranian Goods

Turkmenistan's capital, Ashgabat, is expected to host an exhibition of Iranian goods in November this year, TASS on Wednesday, citing a statement by the Iranian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Gholam Abbas Arbab-Khalas.

"In November, we plan to hold a specialized exhibition of Iranian goods called Iran Project in Ashgabat. It will feature technical and engineering services, construction materials, the architectural field, petrochemicals, oil, gas, and energy sectors," Gholam Abbas Arbab-Khalas stated.

The Iranian envoy also informed that the 17th meeting of the joint commission on cooperation between Iran and Turkmenistan is scheduled to take place in Ashgabat in October. The event is expected to be attended by Mehrdad Bazrpash, the Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development.

The previous exhibition of Iranian goods in Ashgabat took place in February of this year. The exhibition showcased products from the oil and gas, petrochemical, engineering and technical services, pharmaceutical and medical equipment, as well as metals, minerals, wood, and automotive industries.
