British agrarians met with their colleagues of Turkmenistan

British experts in the agro-industrial sector held a webinar with their Turkmen colleagues on the topic of agriculture and the application of modern technologies in this area. Representatives of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and the country’s agricultural university participated in the meeting via video link.

Doctors of Science Elizabeth Warham, Christopher Horn and Sam Host talked about the advanced practices used by British farmers in development of the agricultural sector. These developments in animal husbandry, vegetables and agricultural crops cultivation aroused the interest of the Turkmen party.

Following the outcomes of the present videoconference in Turkmenistan, it is planned to hold a number of internal meetings to discuss the prospects for adopting agricultural innovations developed by British professionals.
