National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
As it reported, the official welcoming ceremony was held on the territory of the Palace of the Nation, which was festively decorated in honor of the reception of the chairman of the Halk Maslahaty.
Emomali Rahmon warmly greeted Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and invited him to the honorary podium.
“The meeting ceremony continued with a report from the commander of the Guard of Honor, the performance of the national anthems of the two countries, a march in front of the Guard of Honor, the high-ranking guest expressing respect for the National Flag of Tajikistan, an introduction to the official delegations of both sides and ended with a solemn march of the Guard of Honor units in front of the leaders of the two nations”, - reports IIC.
Earlier it was reported that the National Leader of the Turkmen people arrived in Tajikistan on a two-day official visit.
