II week of November: SCRMET Export Transactions Exceed $29.4 Million

The total amount of transactions at the trades of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCREMET) for the past week amounted to $29.4 million, the press service of the SCREMET reported.

Representatives of business circles from the United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan purchased jet paraffin produced by Turkmennebit State Concern for foreign currency. Business people from Türkiye and Afghanistan purchased urea and liquefied gas produced by the State Concern Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemistry).

Entrepreneurs from the UAE, Türkiye, the Republic of Ireland, and Kyrgyzstan purchased textile products, wool and denim fabrics, cotton yarn, and regenerated cotton fibre.

For the domestic market, Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased polypropylene produced by Türkmennebit, handmade carpets, various textile products and wool fabric for more than 22 million 514 thousand manats.

Last week, the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan registered 53 deals.
