Indian Ambassador met online with rectors of Turkmen universities

Head of the Indian diplomatic mission in Ashgabat Vidhu Pithambaran Nair held online meetings with rectors of large universities of Turkmenistan, sng.today reports citing the press service of the Indian embassy.

The meetings were held with the rector of the International University of Humanities and Development of Turkmenistan Esen Aydogdyev and the rector of the Turkmen State University named after Mahtumkuli Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva.

Expansion of interaction between universities of the two countries was discussed.

The parties discussed the prospects for the exchange of scientists, as well as the training of Turkmen students in the framework of the flagship Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Program.

Special attention was paid to the opportunities for eligible students to receive scholarships through the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) program.
