Last Week of November: SCRMET Export Transactions Exceed $18.8 Million

The total amount of transactions at the trades of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) for the last week of November 2023 amounted to $18,8 million, the press service of the SCRMET reported on Monday.

Business circles from Ukraine and Afghanistan purchased carbamide produced by Turkmenhimiya (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern for foreign currency.

Entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, the Republic of Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan purchased Portland cement, textile products, cotton yarn, raw fabric and cotton waste.

For the domestic market, Turkmen business people purchased polypropylene hand-woven carpets, textile products, quilts, cotton yarn, raw silk, raw fatty acids and cotton waste with over 30 million 156 thousand manats.

Last week, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered 27 deals.
