Russia’s President Vladimir Putin to award the order to Turkmenistan’s President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov

The meeting between the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov and President of Russia Vladmir Putin who arrived in the country with an official visit has been heldin Ashgabat.

According to TASS, in the course of the meeting the Russian leader Vladimir Putin put forward a proposal to discuss measures to develop the trade ties between the countries.

We need to discuss what needs to be done to develop the trade ties”, Putin said. He also highlighted the decreased trade over between the countries.

RIA Novosti reports that the President’s spokesperson Dmitry Peskov reported that Vladimir Putin would ward Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov with the order of Aleksander Nevsky, who was presented to the President of Turkmenistan in June 2017 for “substantial personal contribution in strengthening the relations of strategic partnership between the Russian Federadtion and Turkmenistan”.
