SCRMET Records $11,5 Million Worth of Transactions on Thursday

The total value of foreign currency transactions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Thursday totalled $11,5 million.

Business representatives from Ukraine purchased B carbamide produced by the Turkmenhimiya (Turkmen Chemistry) state concern, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan reports.

Turkmen business representatives also purchased dyed and jacquard wool products of various colours and sizes, ready-made bed sets and raw silk for the domestic market. The total value of the transactions amounted to 23 million 18 thousand 911 manats.

Established in 1994, the SCRMET is Turkmenistan's primary entity regulating export-import operations.
