President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen, who arrived in Ashgabat on Wednesday, April 10, on a diplomatic visit.
As the Israeli Foreign Minister noted on his Twitter page, the parties discussed strengthening ties between Israeli, Turkmenistan and the countries of Central Asia, regional security and border protection, cooperation in the field of cybersecurity, and agriculture.
It was also noted that Turkmenistan is considering the possibility of opening an embassy in Israel.
