The head of Turkmenistan expressed condolences to Rahmon in connection with the death of 13 people after the rains in Tajikistan

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent deep condolences to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in connection with the natural disasters that occurred in the country, which led to numerous casualties, injuries and destruction, the information program Watan of the Turkmen television reported.

On behalf of the people, the Government of Turkmenistan and on his own behalf, the head of state expressed words of empathy and support at this difficult moment to all the families and friends of the victims, as well as wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured.

On Sunday, heavy rains occurred in Tajikistan, which caused flooding, mudflows and rockfalls in the regions of the republic.The press service of President Emomali Rahmon reported that 13 people died from the consequences of the disaster, including 11 people in the city of Vahdat and two more in the Rudaki region.

The head of state instructed to take measures to eliminate the consequences of the emergency.
