The new Ambassador of Venezuela was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

The newly appointed Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Turkmenistan (with residence in Baku) Christopher Alberto Martinez Berroteran on Wednesday presented copies of his credentials to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmed Gurbanov.

Congratulating the ambassador on his appointment to a responsible post, A. Gurbanov expressed the readiness of the Turkmen side to provide assistance and support in the implementation of his diplomatic activities, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.

When discussing the agenda of Turkmen-Venezuelan relations, diplomats emphasized the constructive cooperation of the two countries in the international arena, within the framework of which the parties provide equal support and act as co-authors of important international initiatives.

The importance of expanding trade and economic ties in such areas as energy, oil and gas, green technologies and agriculture was emphasized.

Discussing the prospects for the development of cooperation in the field of culture and education between Venezuela and Turkmenistan, the importance of exchanging cultural programs and initiatives, organizing educational projects, as well as joint events in the field of art, culture and education was emphasized.
