Turkmen Brake Pad Producer Eyes Uzbek Market For Exports

Ajap Önüm Economic Society, the manufacturer of brake pads for passenger cars in Turkmenistan, is negotiating the export of its products to Uzbekistan, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) reported on Monday.

Foreign partners were attracted by the price-quality ratio of the company's products, according to the report.

The company, operating in Vekilbazar etrap of Mary velayat, has the capacity to produce 300,000 sets of pads annually, which are suitable for use on most vehicles in Turkmenistan.

Ajap Önüm reportedly attaches great importance to the environmental friendliness of its products. The brake pads of the company were issued a certificate of conformity by the Turkmen Standards State Service in December 2019.

The company started supplying its Gunt-branded brake pads to retail outlets in the country ahead of 2020.
