Turkmen President Inspects Construction at Magtymguly Pyragy Complex

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Tuesday got acquainted with the construction works that had entered the final stage around the Magtymguly Pyragy Cultural and Park Complex of at the southern part of the capital Ashgabat.

The Vice-Premier Esenmyrat Orazgeldiyev reported on the land plots designated for planting tree seedlings and their types, the country’s official media reports.

After analyzing the submitted projects and drawings, the Head of State made a number of comments and made appropriate adjustments to them, and also drew attention to the compliance of tree seedlings with the local soil and climatic conditions.

The Vice-Premier Charymyrat Purchekov briefed on the general plan of the cultural and park complex, projects and drawings of facilities planned for building on its territory.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, focusing on the issues of improvement and transformation of the territory of the complex and the surrounding area into a blooming garden, instructed to focus on the cleanliness and ecological state of this part of the capital.

The Head of State also gave specific instructions on the announcement of a tender for the beautification of the Magtymguly Pyragy complex and drew attention to the importance of applying best practices and innovative methods in the construction and beautification of the complex.

Magtymguly Pyragy Cultural and Park Complex covers an area of 13.5 hectares. Its construction is expected to complete in 2022.
