On 29 June Turkmenistan celebrated the 61st birthday of President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov.
Unlike the previous years, this year the head of the state appeared only in one video broadcast, dedicated to his daily work-related projects.
Television channels also broadcast concerts and the festivities in honour of this date, which is remarkable for Turkmen residents and the poems, devoted to the President, were recited.
The female poet Gozel Shagulyeva devoted a new poem to “Celestial envoy”.
During the day the TV viewers were regularly reminded of all accomplishments and talents of “Honoured Arkadag”.
