Turkmenistan has fully fulfilled its contractual obligations for gas supplies to Russia in 2023

Turkmenistan has fully fulfilled its contractual obligations for the supply of natural gas to the Russian Federation. This was announced by the Russian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ivan Volynkin at a briefing for journalists in Ashgabat, SNG.Today reports.

In general, the Russian diplomat highly appreciated the current level of development of political and economic relations between the two countries.

According to Volynkin, Russian-Turkmen relations are based on the principles of equality and mutual respect. Their special strategic nature was confirmed in 2022 by the Declaration on Deepening Strategic Partnership. Dialogue between countries is regularly reinforced at the highest level.
