Vendors from Bai bazaar in Dashoguz warned about the upcoming demolition of the market wholesale section

Sources at “Chronicles of Turkmenistan” report that last week the vendors from Bai bazaar in Dashoguz were warned that the wholesale section of the market would be demolished soon.

The vendors are outraged with the decision made by the municipal authorities. They concluded agreements with the market administration and paid for their stalls until the end of 2017. Now the vendors can lose their work places and might not get money refund.

The market administration and a representative of the municipal khyakimlik’s office did not provide any response with regard to money refund.

The vendors paid a rental fee of 174 manats per month for one point of sale in this part of the bazaar. Now the municipal authorities are obliged to refund money for six months, i.e. 1044 manat.

Let us recall that the rental fees vary depending on the space of the retail premises.
