A meeting was held with the Ambassador of the European Union to Turkmenistan

On 8 April 2026, a meeting was held between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova and the the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the European Union to Turkmenistan Beata Peksa.

About this reports MFA of Turkmenistan.During the meeting, the parties emphasized the effectiveness of the established cooperation with the EU Delegation in Ashgabat.An exchange of views took place on current issues of bilateral cooperation, including a number of joint initiatives on the current agenda.

At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening the partnership and expressed their readiness to continue constructive dialogue.
