Residential buildings on the outskirts of Ashgabat demolished

Privately-owned houses located on the right side of the motorway to Ashgabat are being knocked down in the village of Bikrova, which is now a part of Ashgabat.

According to correspondents of “Chronicles of Turkmenistan”, select houses have already been dismantled whereas the others are being demolished. Hundreds of privately-owned houses will be knocked down at the foothill.

Some residential houses had been previously owned by the officials who were subsequently convicted and their property was transferred to the state. These premises accommodated kindergartens, departments of the khyakimlik’s offices, social services. For instance, the former private cottage which accommodated the house administration of Chandybil etrap, has been demolished.
